It is a shame that so many are off on tangents.<br /><br />The Holy Ghost is the answer to understanding the scriptures. Also get close to Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father.<br /><br />Open your mind.<br /><br />The best book to read on understanding the scriptures are the scriptures themselves. Don't try shortcuts. Read pray and be patient. The Holy Ghost will help you understand when you are ready. Your subject matter can not really be found any where else. <br />It is difficult to know how to interpret Scripture, so it is easy to quote out of context.
